I just do not understand his hatred towards Ohio State? Even more importantly, why so much love for Michigan in this article? Tressel and his staff do deserve some praise for the guys the have assembled so far. If this was Notre Dame with 23 commitments, Lemming would be shouting more praise. I am not saying numbers are everything, but I am sick of Lemming's bias. If numbers do not mean anything, why have the SEC and ACC teams been ranked so high when they bring 30 plus recruits in a year? Why did Lemming jump on Miami and Alabama's bandwagon in 2008 when numbers played a huge factor. This is the same man who has jumped on the Notre Dame and Texas bangwagons for there early success in recent years.

People need to be patient." This has to be one of the most hypocritical statements I have ever read. Michigan, for instance, is having a good year and they could have a great year. A lot of the great players won't even make their commitments until December and January. The race in recruiting almost always goes to the tortoise, not the hare People who know recruiting, know what's going on. He said this about Ohio State's early recruiting success in 2009:Numbers mean absolutely nothing," Lemming said "Only the ignorant recruiting fans think that's a big deal. With that said, Lemming even shocked me with his latest statement in the Detroit News.

It is also not a secret that I think Lemming's recruiting ranking are biased and ignorant. Drew Thurman (11:59 am)It is no secret that Tom Lemming has never been a friend of mine. 4 as specified above. Really, come on.  NASCAR can be boiled down to the following eight words: Drive fast.  Turn left.  Go straight.  Don’t die. In conclusion, team sports such as basketball, football, baseball, hockey, and soccer are indeed sports.  Tennis, track and field, and gymnastics also qualify as sports.  However, curling, hunting/fishing, and professional video game playing are competitions, not sports. And if you don’t compete in a sport, you are not an athlete.  Sorry, Tiger!. 4 is often the definitive qualification.  Thus golf, bowling, billiards, competitive eating, and poker do not qualify as sports.  And, no, Takeru Kobayashi and Johnnie Chan are not athletes. So what about NASCAR, which ranks as one of the most popular (supposed) sports? Nope, not a sport. Driving absurdly fast in tight quarters, while risking life and limb, is no doubt a skill.  And the duration of races does require physical stamina.  But the entire spectacle is done while seated. Beyond hand-eye coordination and stamina, no athletic prowess is needed to be a successful driver.  And driving for a long time is a borderline qualifier for physical exertion and it is hardly athletic.  So NASCAR fails both requirements No 3 and No. swimming, boxing, cycling) beyond merely walking or sitting  Initially I thought I would have to create more exhaustive criteria, but the litmus test is actually quite simple and point No.
